Customs Seized 13 pounds of Horse Genitals at Dulles International Airport

via Daily Sheeple:

If you’ve ever traveled abroad and returned to the United States, you’ve probably dealt with the frustration of having certain seemingly benign food items confiscated by Customs agents. It’s easy to be pissed off at those guys for ending your vacation on a down note, but really you should feel bad for them. It turns out that their job is way more strange, gross, and creepy than yours will ever be.

On Thursday it was reported that Customs agents for the Washington Dulles International Airport made a freaky discovery last month. During a routine agricultural inspection of luggage belonging to two women who were visiting from Mongolia, they found 42 pounds of horse meat, which included 13 pounds of horse genitals. One of the women explained that the genitals were for medicinal purposes. 3 liters of yak milk were also found.

The women obviously knew that the “food” wouldn’t pass through customs, so they found a rather ingenious way to sneak the meat through. It was found stuffed in multiple juice boxes.

Customs decided to incinerate the meat over fears that it could introduce foot and mouth disease to livestock in the United States. The two women were not charged with any crimes and were allowed to continue their visit, presumably after being told “no more horsing around” in America.
