Medical Marijuana Voted Legal In Florida! #YesOn2

Florida’s voters have approved Amendment 2, which would create a clause in Florida’s Constitution to legalize medical marijuana for those suffering from debilitating diseases, as determined by licensed doctors.

Critics of Amendment 2 feared its passage would lead to pop-up dispensaries with little supervision. But supporters said it’s a necessary treatment for a wide variety of conditions from seizures to PTSD to cancer.

In order to pass, Amendment 2 needed 60 percent of the vote since it’s proposing a constitutional amendment. In 2014, it got 57.6 percent of voters’ approval. As of right now it has 71% approval.

Way to go Florida!
