Will Rick Ross Be Investigated By Federal Law Enforcement?

Rick Ross Calls For The Murder of Donald Trump

Rick Ross, a Florida native whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II, has made headlines once again. This time it wasn’t for his beef with rapper 50 cent, instead the artist has a new enemy….Donald Trump! In his song titled, “Free Enterprise (Black Market)” the artist speaks of killing 2016 presidential candidate Donald Trump as if he was George Zimmerman.

Rick Ross was quoted saying: “Assassinate Trump like I’m Zimmerman/Now accept these words as they came from Eminem/Democratic party sentenced to the pendulum/Killing them, I voted for Andre Benjamin.”

Will the rapper be investigated for these outlandish lyrics? Or is he protected by the Constitution? Previous incidents with other rappers speaking heinously in their lyrics have proven yes they will be investigated, but more than likely will not be charged. Years back, Marshall Mathers better known by his stage name “Eminem”, made a song titled “We As Americans” in which he stated: “I don’t rap for dead presidents, I’d rather see the president dead, it hasn’t been said but I set precedents”. He was investigated by the United States Secret Service and no charges were filed seeing as he was invoking his constitutional rights as stated in the First Amendment.
